Getting There:
Balaia Golf Village is just 25 minutes by car from Faro International Airport, and is ideally located in the central Algarve between Vilamoura and Albufeira, with their golden beaches, extensive shopping, leisure facilities and lively, cosmopolitan nightlife. Arrival from Faro Airport On leaving the airport or depot car park, proceed north from Faro airport by bearing right towards Faro for about 2 kms to the flyover. Take the slip road signposted Portimão onto the EN125. After several kilometres, the right hand lane forks onto a flyover signposted Almancil. Take this road and continue for approximately 14 kms until you reach a crossroad with traffic lights. At the crossroads go straight on towards Portimão on the EN125 before passing the Atlantico Park on the right hand side after about 1 km. Follow the road for approximately 3 kms before coming to another set of traffic lights where you again go straight on for another 1.5 kms. Here you will pass a shop called Colina on the left hand side. Take the next left hand turn just before the bridge where Balaia is signposted in yellow at the top of the road sign. As you follow the road you will see signs for Albufeira, pass a BP petrol station on the left hand side after 1 km and Kadoc nightclub on the right. After a further 1 km you will drive over a bridge with green railings before following the road for a further 1 km until you will see another Balaia sign. Drive straight on for 1 km until the first roundabout, take left following the sign indicating Olhos de Água. Continue straight ahead until the next roundabout, go straight following the sign for Olhos de Água. After a few meters yet another roundabout, continue straight ahead following the signs for Olhos de Água and Balaia. Follow the road for about 2.5 kms, continue to the top of the hill passing the PETROFER petrol station on the left hand side and then take the second right hand turn into the Balaia Golf Village complex. The reception is the first building on the left hand side.
